THE CHALLENGE
The client, an artisanal fashion brand in Australia, wanted to reuse ready denim jackets for recreating a strong handcrafted identity. The garments needed to combine upcycled denim with 3 embroidery techniques, creative patchwork and tiny detailing
The challenge was to translate as much creativity onto a ready base jacket. Every detail from the embroidery to patchwork, to choice of colors, had to stand out in order to contribute to the overall character of their fashion collection. No cohesiveness, straight up stunning bespoke jackets
OUR SOLUTION
The ODD Factory worked closely with our artisans to bring this creative vision to life using different techniques and swatches before final applications in order to establish the final WOW pieces. We had to ensure each pieces stands out from the other
The project focused on creating bespoke upcycled denim jackets featuring:
- Combination embroidery detailing and blue spine-inspired embellishments for 3D lookÂ
- Creative patchwork compositions with Australian symbols for a crop jacketÂ
- A strong balance between craftsmanship, individuality and sustainable fashion
- 3D pop up embroidery, 2D hand and machine embroidery
- Embroidery Artwork development and swatch testingÂ
By combining upcycled denim with detailed artisanal techniques, The ODD Factory helped translate the brand’s ideas into Slowfashion garments that reflect its creative identity and commitment to conscious fashion.
